The installer fails to check whether grub2win is already installed even in the default location, C:\.
It also fails to check the grub2win version and offer to update to the latest version of grub2win during installation.

Finally, the installer fails to accomodate encrypted windows drives for the grub2win element when it should give the user the option during installation to install all the grub2win efi boot elements including the config file etc to the efi partition grub2win folder. A standardised advanced option in grub2win

It's not a part of it's workprocess, it isn't meant to check grub2win versions according to current implementations. The grub2win installer itself would handle version changes the best.

Again, this is not part of the installer's workprocess, grub2win installer deals with it, not the Advanced Android-x86 Installer

You missed the point. Your implementation off grub2win within your installer fails to do either, it will even over write a newer version of grub2win with your old version If your grub2win is checkboxed within your installer. Whilst the user is made aware by the grub2win included in your installer its an outdated version your installer installs the outdated version and overwrites the current installation. Your installer should be checking wether grub2win already exists on C: and advise the user as such.

Also your advanced installer should also check if C: is an encrypted drive, if it is it should advise the user of this and offer the option to run grub2win in such a way to install the whole boot config to the efi partition via its advanced mode, otherwise it places the grub config files on C: and just fails to boot.

Correct, it's meant to be like that.
For example, having that option enabled by default would overcome the issue of grub2win installation being broken for some reason and it surely has been a plus-point for many cases where the user attempts to re-install their OS hoping that a particular boot issue would get resolved. But yeah, I could prompt the user if they're having a newer version of grub2win installed along with that option ticked.

Okay, I'll note it out. Basically I never happened to need an encrypted NTFS partition. Will need to create one and run experiments in my spare time to better understand what's happening and what needs to be done.

Thank you for your feedback.

I'm testing this out on my laptop - what version/link should I use to for Lineage iso? I'm installing on a Dell laptop if that makes a difference. Trying to install Bliss with this tool..

Use the latest version, beware that 10th gen intel cpu needs kernel 5.4 and mesa 19.3 to boot.
