Hi,
I have an issue when trying to boot DarkMatter OS from USB. After I select the GRUB option to install it, it reboots. I've also tried with the Windows installer: worked but when I boot it, it shows gearlock text at the top and then the distro name with a blinking underscore and nothing happens after that. I've already updated kernel to latest 5.10 and the same with Mesa 21.
Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4700U

add `nomodeset` to grub and then boot to go into software rendering
if it can boot then gpu might be the problem
Same thing:

@HMTheBoy154 have you found a fix for this issue? Maybe it's caused by kernel/mesa incompatibility with my CPU/GPU (AMD Ryzen 7 4700U)?

show me your grub code 🤦‍♂️
it wont help even if you change the grub code, basically grub is used to identify and launch components, just like a launcher, you need to find the correct kernel,
try, replace it with older kernel 4.4 something
it boots and dectect so the grub code works the problem is the:
- kernel? (calls and find whats in the directory of the system)
- ramdisk (gives the layout information, to create data img or data folder)
- ini img (starts your system)
use the default grub code from DM it will save you time,
