Hello everyone

So let me give you a little back story,
I Installed PhoenixOS exe from Official website, installed, restarted to boot on the system, scratched/distorted screen happens when the welcome window first time appears.
that got fixed (don't know how) by burning the PhoenixOS.iso on a USB Flash and formatting the partition to EXT4, the screen was kind of cropped on the right and the whole screen looked foggy but not distorted, still unplayable.

Now I switched Darkmatter since PhoenixOS is outofdate
I did a normal install using the guided windows installation using the exe
when I finished the install, proceeded with the package choosing in boot console to Darkmatter
then it told me to switch to GUI using Alt+F7
Here's how the screen appeared:
nWjThNL.jpg

basically every phoenix exe install I did looked like this when any GUI appears on the screen,
but If I install from USB Flash it doesn't happen, but I think it happens later, not sure.

How can I fix this?
Any help is appreciated please..

My specifications:
CPU: AMD R5 3600
GPU: RTX 2060
Partition: SSD Nvme ext4 (MBR type)

An XDA user got double Rtx 2080 ti to work fine in Bliss OS
Try to remove those (return to original code) and see if you can boot.
So do I have to drop Darkmatter and switch to BlissOS? where can I find Bliss kernel and use it I guess?

I went back to original grub, fresh install, added two extensions (kernel 5.10.1, mesa 20.1.10)

and this is the result:

This is really a turn down for me, I feel like this is can't be fixed??..

The problem is related to your GPU as i've already told you nvidia have poor support over android x86.
and your AMD CPU can't run without any discrete GPU so you can't even boot the OS one way around it to use nouveau.modeset=0 as your grub kernel parameter & force kernel to use google swift shader instead, but that's software based, so you can't play any 3d games on it.
in the end i'd suggest to either change your GPU or keep using PC emulators until NVidia decide to opensource their drivers.

So this way, even if I managed someway to start the system, my GPU won't be able to render anything, that's a noice thing.

I really just want to play with Octopus (the game controller) on a emulator like gameloop, because its the best game controller.. so smooth, even if the entire OS is laggy which is impressive.

Do you think BlissOS would work for me and support my CPU,GPU ?

Thanks for clearing the thread.

There is an old octupos v 2.2.5 that works on bliss os , found other site, i just cant remeber the link, but it works just dont update it the octupos and it will work fine, the only missing on that is alt(key),

bliss won't work with that gpu either.
any nvidia gpu above GTX 1080 will have issues.
and those who are support needs to stay on kernel 4.14 & lower.
so ryzen + nvidia is worst combo for android x86.

It seems to be some problem with your cpu because @Aryadeep also had the same problem and the same specs he had , try installing the latest kernel and mesa from the resources section. Post a thread if the above does not work

Can i know you cpu model ?

thank you
this is my model
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1005G1 CPU @ 1.20GHz 1.19 GHz
Are you sure Because I have I same CPU ?
My model Dell Inspiron 3493 (Don't tell me you have the same model).I don't think this is a problem but try updating bios to latest version and reset the bios settings to the default. Disable secure boot and change sata config from raid to ahci . Try installing again and download the latest DM 4.7 beta 2 iso or try blissOS 11.14 with kernel 5.10 and mesa 20.

Post a thread if the problem is not fixed

Yes. Mount the exefs partition.. and copy the kernel and mesa gearlock packages to the gearload folder or the data folder .. and boot the Darkmatter os and press g in console or Alt+f7.. and choose metro -> install/uninstall-> install from custom location. And choose the files (kernal and mesa) one by one .. and it will ask to update firmware too. Press Y for yes. And see if that works for you .. I'm having some boot problems after upding kernel.. but at least I can boot it up with drivers lo
how can i mount exefs partiton

how can i mount exefs partiton
hmm..what do you actually wanna do? and how did you install darkmatter?
Post automatically merged:

well..if you installed it as an IMG file just put the files in the gearlock folder in the installed directory. but if you installed it as a separate partition having EXEfs then you will have to mount it using something called "ExtFs by SupremeGamers"

[THANK YOU BUY I RESOLVED] IT. I WANTED TO PASTE THE INTRD IMG AND KERNAL [BECAUSE MY SCREEN WAS DISORTED]TO THE GEARLOAD FOLDER BUT IT WAS EXT4[RECOMENED] SO I REINTALLED THE DARK MATTER OS IN ORDINARY FILE FORMAT
