I was thinking that is there any way anyone could connect their Android x86 OS's display to Android TV wirelessly.
My Android TV uses Miracast for wireless display, I've tried installing Miracast in my Darkmatter, but screen casting was not possible.
So it would be great if someone know a way that can make this screen casting possible.

You need to tell us more about what exactly happens when you try to screencast. Maybe record a video with your phone and provide geardump after the issue has occurred

  • Press alt+f8 before opening the app.
  • Run the following command: logcat -c; logcat > /sdcard/log.txt
  • Press alt+f7
  • Run the app till that no devices found screen comes.
  • Then quickly, press alt+f8 and press Ctrl+C and then alt+f7.
  • Upload log.txt here from fx > Main Storage

Miracast/wireless display is still a work in progress according to android-x86.org, it is on the development roadmap of android x86 but no android x86 developer is working on it. All are free to contribute to it according to android x86 developer Chih Wei Huang.
For the info, even in linux only gnome have working wireless display/ miracast.

After taking a look at your log, I realize that your Miracast app is probably failing to initialize a network socket. Although I don't know how to workaround this, sorry.
